This 1997 nature-gone-wild film is about genetically-altered insects living underneath Manhattan. These creatures are the creation of Dr. Susan Tyler (Mira Sorvino) and Peter Mann (Jeremy Northam), who were assigned to find a cure for a deadly disease. The bugs were supposed to die in a matter of months after being used for medical purposes, but things don't go as planned - with deadly consequences!
