In Total Recall, Arnold Schwarzenegger is Douglas Quaid, a construction worker in the year 2084 who keeps dreaming of Mars. He goes to a place called "Rekall" to have some fake memories implanted so he can "remember" visiting Mars. It's cheaper than actually going there. What happens after that keeps you guessing about Doug's true identity all the way to the very end of the film.
